Anthem
On the basis of the Decision on obligation of the
Mayor of the Municipality of Aerodrom of taking activities for
launching a Competition for selection of an anthem of the Municipality
of Aerodrom, No. 07-231/2 of January 10, 2008 (“Official Gazette of
the Municipality of Aerodrom” No. 01/08) and the Decision on amendment
and addition to the Decision on obligation of the Mayor of the
Municipality of Aerodrom of taking activities for launching a Contest
for selection of an anthem of the Municipality of Aerodrom, No.
07-280/2 of January 21, 2008 (“Official Gazette of the Municipality of
Aerodrom” No. 02/08), the Council of the Municipality of Aerodrom
announces:
P U B L I C C O M P E T I T I O N
for a proposal for an anthem of the
Municipality of Aerodrom - Skopje
- The Municipality of Aerodrom launches a public competition for a proposal for an anthem of the municipality.
- The historic traditions, the cultural heritage, the environmental, geographic, economic and other characteristics of the Municipality of Aerodrom shall be taken into consideration for the proposal for an anthem.
- It should differ from the anthem of the Republic of Macedonia, the other municipalities, the municipalities in the City of Skopje, and from the anthem of the other states and other national and international organizations.
- The proposal should be melodic, with a clear and distinct style of expression in the text.
- The proposal duration should not exceed 3 minutes and the proposal should be a piece never played before.
- The proposals for an anthem should be submitted in closed packages with a code and with the inscriptions “anthem” and “do not open” and they should contain a special closed envelope with the inscription “proposal” which will contain the proposal for an anthem of the municipality, placed on an adequate audio medium, whereas the textual part of the anthem should be submitted in printed and electronic formats on a compact disc or a floppy disc, with a code and a special closed envelope with the inscription “code”, and it should contain the name of the author, to whom the code refers, the address and the telephone number.
- The authorship is proven by submitting a copy of the submitted proposals and data about the author.
- The Commission for implementation of the procedure for selection of an anthem of the Municipality of Aerodrom will consider the submitted proposals and select the best of them and will propose them to the Municipality Council for selection of an anthem of the municipality.
- The award for the selected proposal of the Municipality of Aerodrom will be MKD 30,000.00.
- The authorship rights of the participants whose proposal has been accepted shall belong to the Municipality of Aerodrom.
- The proposals shall be submitted to the Municipality of Aerodrom (Commission for implementation of the procedure for selection of an anthem of the Municipality of Aerodrom), “Venijamin Macukovski” Str. 6, 1000 Skopje.
- The submitted proposals shall not be returned.
- The competition is a public one and it shall be open for 60 days from the date of publication in the printed and public media.
- The selection shall take place within 30 days from the closing date of the competition.
- All legal and natural persons of the Republic of Macedonia are entitled to the right to participate.
