Biography
Dr. Viktor Kamiloski was born on April 5, 1962, in Skopje. He finished primary school and general high school in Skopje. He enrolled into the Faculty of Medicine in the schoolyear of 1980/1981, and completed his studies in June 1986, with a GPA of 8.70.
Since October 1988, he has worked with the General City Hospital, St. Naum Ohridski Special Surgery Hospital - Skopje.
He sat his specialist doctoral exam in general surgery on March 24, 1995. He completed a subspecialty course in traumatology on April 24, 2000. He has worked on many responsible managerial positions, such as: Head of the Department for Aseptic Surgery, Head of the Urgent Care Center within the General City Hospital, General Director of the General City Hospital.
He has vast surgical and operative experience, especially in the field of traumatology. He became Master of Science in Traumatology in 1988 (Clinical and X-ray evaluation of treatment of typical radius fractures).
He was elected junior associate professor of surgery on March 23, 1993, whereas he was elected associate professor of the same subject at the Science and Teaching Council within the Faculty of Medicine on December 26, 1997.
In 2008, he acquired the title of Doctor of Medicine by sitting a doctoral exam on the topic of Fractures on Distal Radius and Treatment with External Fixation.
Professional and scientific activity
During his specialization in general surgery, he showed interest in the science and research activities at the Traumatology Department within the General City Hospital, St. Naum Ohridski Special Surgical Hospital - Skopje.
He participated in many section and intersection meetings at domestic and international congresses and symposia, where he had either oral presentations or poster presentations.
In the role of an author and a co-author, he participated in various professional congresses, symposia, and meetings in the country and abroad. On several turns, he had study stays in the Clinical Center in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1994 and in 1996.
He finished several traumatology courses, as follows:

Teaching and publishing activity
Over the past period, Associate Dr. Viktor Kamiloski has been actively involved in the practice with students at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry, conveying them the contemporary attitudes in the field of surgery. He has a thorough approach to his tasks and a good pedagogic sense. Also, he has published numerous works in the country and abroad.
