START OF RECONSTRUCTION OF THE “LALE” KINDERGARTEN

Today, June 14, 2012, started the reconstruction of the “Lale” facility, which is part of the “Srnicka” kindergarten, that is, reconstruction of the roof and toilets, and replacement of windows, for which the Municipality of Aerodrom provided over MKD 5 million from its budget.
The reconstruction will include replacement of the asbestos roof with corrugated metal roof, new thermal insulation, and new lightning installation. Also, old deteriorated windows will be replaced with new ones.
The reconstruction of the kindergarten includes reconstruction of toilets, removal of old sewer and water pipes, floor gutters, sinks and other elements in the toilets.
It is expected that the construction activities are completed by the end of the summer which would give this kindergarten a brand new look.
The reconstruction of the “Kalinka” kindergarten and of the “Braka Miladinovci” primary school was completed recently, too, and reconstruction of other schools in the Municipality of Aerodrom is to begin nowadays, so the entire project for reconstruction of educational facilities in the Municipality of Aerodrom will cost about EUR 1.5 million.
Aerodrom is the first municipality completely reconstructing all kindergartens and schools with environmentally friendly materials and striving to make these facilities fully energy efficient.
