Strategic plan
At the moment, the Municipality of Aerodrom is not industrially developed, but there is an ongoing process of change and building of new detailed urban plans (DUP), in order to enable the creation of industrial capacities, which would foremost provide employment for the inhabitants of the Municipality of Aerodrom. If, in the future, the construction land is given over under the competence of the Municipality of Aerodrom, that is, if the state-owned land becomes municipality-owned, about 50 investors will receive the most important locations which would open 5,000 to 6,000 employment posts for the municipality inhabitants. Associations of businessmen are to be formed as a link between employees and employers.
Our goal is to provide quality life for the citizens (parking places, greenery, parks…) but also to provide new residential units. We are planning to build apartments for young married couples (10,000 apartments could be built in a few years), sports and children’s playgrounds, hotels, etc. For these activities, 10 civil engineers and architects will be engaged. At the moment, the building of the regional center is under way.
